Egg donation:

Egg donation is using the eggs of a preselected donor then fertilizing them by the sperm of the woman’s husband then transferring the embryo to the woman’s uterus.
Egg donation is an effective treatment for infertility caused by decreased ovarian function. This is a problem that can occur at any age but is much more common in women above 39 years old. Fortunately, for women unable to conceive using their own eggs, donor eggs offer the highest pregnancy and delivery rates of any fertility treatment and still allows a woman to carry a child.

Who needs egg donation?
Donor egg IVF is generally used in women with significantly diminished egg quantity and quality (poor ovarian reserve) or having high FSH and low AMH. This includes women with:
1) Advanced female age, over age 40
2) Premature ovarian failure before the age of 40
3) Very poor egg quality
4) Poor response to ovarian stimulation
5) High Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) levels at day 3 of the period and low AMH levels
6) Very low follicle counts on ultrasound
7) Menopause

You can bring your own donor,
Or we will offer you an anonymous donor: Donors are available without a waiting list.
We have donors, who have passed medical history and IQ level selection and blood tests for different kinds of transmitted diseases such as Thalassemia, Hepatitis B, HIV, blood group and others. They are anonymous. You can know the characteristics of the donors, blood group, age, skin color, weight, height, eye color, hair type, hair color, and nose shape, but cannot see them.
We use only fresh preselected eggs (oocytes) from already screened and selected young donors (18 - 27 years old). We guarantee at least 6 mature good quality eggs to be fertilized for each patient.

How it happens for international patients?
If we start preparing you and your endometrium in the country where you live, you have to be here for about 10 days only. We transfer the embryos 3 - 5 days after the egg retrieval and the fertilization of the donor’s eggs by your husband’s sperm. This is why your husband has to be at the clinic to give us his sperm sample on the day of the egg retrieval of the donor's eggs. We can make the embryo transfer into your uterus at the Blastocyst stage (Day 5) or at day 3 depending on each case. You will need 3 days of bed rest after the embryo transfer. Then you can fly back.
